KNOW THE TYPE you NEED.
Advanced life support (AL S), Automated External (AED),
Implantable Cardioverter (ICD), or Wearable Defibrillators.
KNOW WHAT FEATURES you REQUIRE.
Defibrillators typically have a monitor to display vital signs. Consider the
type of electrode paddle you need: hand-held, internal, wearable
disposable, or self-adhesive.
KNOW IF IT WILL BE USED FOR EMERGENCIES.
An AED (Automated External Defibrillator) should be used in most cases. They are fairly simple
to use and portable. Disposable electrode paddles are preferred in emergencies.
