• 8 to 10 sheets tissue paper in desired colors and patterns
• Monofilament or /8 inch ribbon '*darling')
• Twist ties
• Sharp scissors
STEP l. Stack eight to ten 20 x 30' or 20 x 26" sheets
of tissue paper, Make 1 h" wide accordion
folds, creasing folds crisply as you go. Lee
made pom poms in various sizes using
coordinating tissue prints and solids.
STEP 2. Fold the twist tie in half, slip it over the
center of the folded tissue and t'Mst.
Tie the ribbon or monofilament to the twist
tie so you Can hang the finished pom
STEP 3. Trim the ends into rounded or pointed

shapes. Lee says, "Pointed ends are easier to

Separate layers, gently pulling away from
the center one at a time. (FYL when pulling
apart. the larger pom poms tear easily so
take extra care.) Hang them from the raf-
